Our Mission
The Holiday Heroes Foundation was formed to provide children suffering from serious illnesses of all types with an opportunity to have an “everyday life experience that many of us take for granted” such as a birthday party or holiday gathering unencumbered by the extent of illness. To this end, we obtain gift cards and autographed sports memorabilia for children both in the hospital and in their homes between treatments and with their friends to allow children to “forget about their worries for a while” and celebrate Life. We also assist families of sick children with food donations around the holidays and provide requested food items and visitations to children in their homes and at the hospital.
