Our Mission

The Holiday Heroes Foundation was formed to provide children suffering from all types of serious illnesses with an opportunity to have an “everyday life experience that many of us take for granted”, such as a birthday party or holiday gathering. The hospital floor transforms from a gloomy, sickly place into a lively holiday party. We purchase gift cards from various stores that are presented to the children as holiday/birthday gifts at these parties containing decorations, fun activities, and interactive conversation. Our goal is to make these kids smile during a time that should be full of celebration, but is not due to the hospital environment and lack of personal means.
